GRIP™ Program
Guaranteed Revenue Improvement Program
The GRIP™ Program facilitates Rural and Community Hospitals in streamlining operational efficiencies and strengthening “bottom lines”. Optimal Revenue Cycle performance is achieved through creatively configured customized services and innovative “best practice” cash recovery and revenue management solutions.
The GRIP™ Program starts with a risk free assessment of the hospital’s entire revenue cycle that allows our team to establish a baseline and identify unique opportunities for revenue cycle improvement. The assessment will identify claims to be re-billed, changes in process that will generate additional dollars, and other opportunities to move towards “best practices”. Implementation, training, and process re-engineering are then provided in a post assessment quarterly review process allowing for continuous improvement.
Our team guarantees the additional reimbursement findings will cover the cost of the revenue cycle assessment. If the findings do not cover the assessment fee, the fee is reduced to the identified reimbursement collected.
STEP 1: REVENUE CYCLE ASSESSMENT
The revenue cycle assessment includes interviews with key personnel, review and analysis of trended data, review of key processes and actual claims, and analysis of all revenue cycle processes and procedures. Our team prepares a financial analysis, benchmark study, staffing analysis and information technology review as part of the assessment. Observations and recommendations are also provided along with a detailed action plan for implementation.
STEP 2: QUARTERLY IMPLEMENTATION AND MONITORING.
Once the initial assessment is completed, our team works with two departments each quarter to provide assistance in improving charge capture, documentation and coding practices to ensure the hospital is receiving proper reimbursement for all services that are performed. In addition, for a year following the assessment, our team will monitor the implementation of each recommendation to ensure “best practices”. Cost of the quarterly implementation and monitoring is also guaranteed to be covered by additional reimbursement.
